One of the main reasons is believed to be the changes in benefits which are received by people on low incomes.

Aisha Rahman and her team take in donations on Sundays mornings at Eldridge House in Hounslow Road in Hounslow.

Food bank trustee Aisha confirmed the rise in the number of people dependent on the free food.
