French TV channel offered Down’s Syndrome girl chance at weather

Melanie Segard got the chance to shine on screen on the national public channel France 2.

Her 27 year brother Cyril who followed her told her to have fun and to pretend she was reading the weather at home.

She hosted a segment of the weather on Tuesday night after 4 days training.

21 year old Melanie was also offered the opportunity by the BFMTV news channel

and a French charity for inclusion was behind the televisual feature.

A Facebook page dedicated to her appearance got more than two hundred thousand likes.

Fortunately she didn’t have to make a forecast about strong winds from Storm Doris.
