Funding boost for special needs’ education in British schools

The Putney MP Justine Greening has welcomed a funding boost for the lives of thousands of children with special needs.

More than two hundred million pounds will be given to  schools.

The money will be used to build specialised classrooms- expand classrooms and even create space for wheelchairs.

Each council should get at least five hundred thousand pounds for mainstream schools including grammar schools and FE colleges.

Edward Timpson – the Minister for Vulnerable Children and Families made the announcement.
