More than 20 people with disabilities are now back in work in Croydon.

It follows a job fair held by the council last month.

One man, 42 year old Terry Smith, has been offered a job as a result of the fair, in the council’s mail room.

He’s partially paralysed due to a condition called hemiplegia, and had given up on finding work after spending 18 years with the Met police in London.
