U.K. doctors welcome local council funds for disabled but say it’s not enough

The comment’s come from Dr Mark Porter, TV doctor and chairperson of the British Medical Association’s council.

He told the BBC says the extra funding is likely to raise an extra £200 million in the next two years.

But he said it’s still not enough to plug the estimated social care funding gap by the end of 2020.
