Lulu died nine months later when she choked on some food. But her final trip away with her fellow residents and carers shows an idyllic week at the prettily-named Dill Hundred Cottage at Vine’s Cross,

Louise who was 47 at this stage can be seen enjoying the water, wearing a special adult swimming aid.

More than fifty people attended her funeral in 2009 including the wife of the producer of the musical Matilda, Judith Ptaszynski.

And the last photo of Louise of testing the fruit from the orchard at the cottage was chosen for the front cover of ‘Don’t Bring Lulu, Her Family’s Tale of Trial and Triumph’.
