Pic of Hyman ArluckArluck who died in New York on April 23 wrote a string of well-known hits They included That Ole Black Magic, Come Rain Come Shine,Any Place I hang my Hat is Home and My Shining Hour.

Arluck was born Harold Arlen son of a Jewish cantor. Arlen was a longtime friend and former roommate of actor Ray Bolger, who starred in The Wizard of Oz.

‘Somewhere over the rainbow’ sung by Eva Cassidy was played at Louise Onions’ funeral in 2008 in Sussex.
