ImageClaus Toksvig covered the moon landing in 1969  for Danish TV and the European Broadcasting Union. Incidentally Toksvig was the first ever permanent Foreign Correspondent for Danish TV – just to indicate this time of expansion in the world of broadcast news.

His daughter, the comedienne, Sandi and son Nick (now a TV journalist) watched the moonshot at Cape Kennedy and then travelled – as did the Onions – to the press centre at Mission Control in Houston, Texas.
